Basically what we have in mind is to provide a place for people in and around the Arlington area to get together, meet others, plan some activities with like-minded people and pretty much help one another on our paths. We're not looking to start a new tradition and in fact would prefer to be a springboard of sorts to the other traditions that are already out there. One of the things we visualize is that newcomers who are interested in the various facets of Pagan beliefs might come to us and say, well, I am interested in learning more about ancient Celtic beliefs, or I want to learn more about Norse, Greek, Egyptian, etc. beliefs. We can then put them in touch with others we know of who are on such paths that might accept them as new members and help them on their way.

We also want to provide a family friendly atmosphere. Having small children ourselves and a backyard to play in we think giving the little ones a chance to make new friends would be a major plus. Perhaps we could share some Pagan Parenting tips with one another and such.

Initially what we have in mind is getting together at our home two Saturdays each month in the late afternoon or early evening. Drinks and snacks would be provided but bringing more to share would be greatly appreciated as well. Later, if other members would like to host get togethers at their homes or plan an outing we could do that as well...
